"They're off to see the wizard, the wonderful Wizard of OC. That's
right, they're not headed for the Emerald City but rather good old
Orange County. Being that's where they are from, I know I've had my
share of living there, right by Disneyland for a while in fact. That's
why I did that first toon of them back in 1996 with Gwen squeezing an
orange and the "4th guy" posed as Mickey Mouse. The Hard Rock
Cafe in Newport actually has on display her little red outfit and shoes
from the Tragic Kingdom album, at least they did the last time I was
there. The shoes I have modified and modernfied here then mixed with
Dorothy's ruby red shoes. Kind of fitting too with the new Orange County
movie coming out, looks funny, guess I'll have to go see that." |
